Vehicle Procurements was founded by Malcolm Ledgar who has spent over 30 years in the motor industry as a Regional Manager, Fleet Manager and Rentals Manager for market leading companies, holding several senior posts for major blue chip companies and manufacturers. He has gained extensive experience in delivering cost savings for the corporate, private, rental and courtesy car markets.
Each of these posts have enabled him to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the vehicle profile criteria demanded by fleet users (i.e. SMEs , Limited Companies, PLCs, body shops and daily rental operators).
Chris started with Vehicle Procurements in 2014 as a Personal Vehicle Handover Specialist. He was taken on full time to manage the office elements of VP's business when VP House opened in 2016
He has been responsible for the development of the IT infrastructure since then. VP's website, communication tools and new app were all influenced by his personal interest in technology, understanding of modern media and how to communicate with customers and suppliers alike. Chris also oversees VP's CRM database.
Chris's previous experience has also given him the skills to be able to manage the logistics for VP and VP Autolease.
Mollie has been with VP since the opening of their head office and re-marketing centre, VP House, in 2016. She is currently undertaking a Business and Administration NVQ course in her spare time.
She is vital to the success of VP's credit control department as her organisation skills and good customer rapport make her ideally placed to manage outstanding debt. Mollie also has responsibility for managing the order process and running VP's rental fleet, including day to day administration and customer relations. She ensures the rental and leasing fleet is monitored so customers can rest assured that their fleets will be updated in a timely fashion
Jessica has joined the team to assist with the management of the office and administration. She comes from a role as a member of the management team at a day nursery in Nottingham.
She brings to her new role experience in dealing with customers and external agencies as well as introducing policy and procedures vital in organising a well run office. Her previous roles have given her an ability to think outside the box with regard to the motor industry, and she is looking forward to applying her ideas and skills to making the customer experience of dealing with Vehicle Procurements easier, simpler and more enjoyable.
