September 2014 – VP are very pleased to have been able to help James Stackhouse, Emma Bradley and Emma Rhodes from AutoRestore’s finance department in their bid to complete a charity Olympic Triathlon relay.
On 27th September 2014 the team completed an Olympic Triathlon with Emma B swimming 1.5km, James cycling 40km and Emma R running 10km in the Belron Triathlon at Dorney Lake, Windsor, to raise money for Afrika Tikkun UK.
Afrika Tikkun aims to transform communities in South Africa by supporting vulnerable children and equipping them with the skills needed to succeed in life. This award-winning NGO currently helps thousands of families every week. Their Patron, Nelson Mandela, hailed their programmes as ‘A Miracle’.
The team looked great in their VP branded sportswear, and raised a whopping £1,780 for the charity with many of the donations coming from VP’s clients and supplying dealers. A big ‘thank you’ to everyone who donated – the full list can be found at www.justgiving.com/1st2thebar
